  2. Existing DA slabs are stated as 270 instead of 291 slabs in DA calculator and hence it is not showing correct DA. Pl check the same and modify. New slabs must be 382 slabs.

  6. dear friends, I was told that there is a computing mistake in CPI(as we follow 1960 index) in the year 2001 and the same as reportedly rectified in the month of Aug 2009 resulted in substantial increase of DA. Is it true. If so then every employee lost substantial DA from 2001 onwards besides reduced basic in the previous settlement 2002.

  7. Dear Friends,
It is useful to inform about the increase in DA rates. This periodical information is going to help the pensioners of various banks. A core group formed to discuss the various issues relating to Bank Pensioners is also highly commendable.

  8. It is very relavent what Mr.K Balasubramanian writes, now it is better the negotiating teams leave the calculation part to IBA , and concentrate on how to negotiate for 100 % nutralisation for pentioners who retired before 2002 and see that everybody gets the benifit after every setttlement as central govt employees get.

  13. what is the fate of an employee who waited for signing of 9th b p settlemet bu unfortunately breathed his last a month before the signing of the settlement. But for his death he was to opt for pension and refund the bank's contribution of pf. the circulars that the bank's have circulated do not mention anything about the decesed during the perio1.11.2007 to 27.04.201 but are using the word retire during this period only .

  14. Sir,
I retired in June 2009. My basic pay since 2007 nov (as per revised salary) is 32400 and FPA 800/- thus total is 33200 and retired after competing 35 years of service on superannuation.. As per Pension calculation
    Basic pay +Sp all(ranking for PF) X 50/100 X 35/33
comes to 17607. where as in the above calculator it is showing as 16600/-. Which is correct? if it is 16600/- what is the meaning of the formula Basic X50/100 X No.of years qualifying service/33 ? Please clarify. P Nageswara Rao nraosurya1949@gmail.com

  15. Shri Nageswara Pilla -
You have taken 35 years of qualifying service in basic pension calculation. Maximum 33 years of years of service should be taken for pension basic calculation, irrespective of actual service more than 33 years.
